Very fine quality cushion cut Swiss blue topaz (9 x 9 mm) steal the show in this design. A large faceted golden heart cut citrine stone(12 x 12mm) competes for attention. The citrine is crowned with a vermeil bead cap and tiny apatite faceted bead.

Very good quality and hard to find golden mandarin garnets (6 x 4mm), (6 x 4mm) deep pink rhodolite garnet briolettes, and sparkling (4 x 4mm) faceted aquamarines are all prettily mixed together.

Two 4 x 4mm peach cultured pearls enhance the sturdy 14k gold filled lobster clasp. At the middle of the 17" necklace two 14k gold filled chains add textural interest to this vintage style design with a modern twist.

With the exception of the vermeil bead cap, all metal components are 14k gold filled.

Gold filled is an actual layer of 14k gold over a base metal and is still the best substitute for solid gold.
