About Us
I grew up visiting three wonderful great aunts who had an old Georgian house filled with antiques and collectibles of all kinds. That is how my love of antique furniture, porcelain, silver, etc. began. A lifetime collector and dabbler, I began learning in earnest about 16 years ago while assisting a friend in her upscale shop in Florida. And my learning continues on a daily basis as I research items that I want to present to you.

It is my desire to bring you beautiful items that have been gently loved by their previous owners, at a price that is so affordable that you will want to bring them to their new home and love them too. It gives me tremendous personal joy to have a customer receive their purchase and write to me to let me know that they really do just love it!

The picture you see in place of my logo from time to time is of Greta, my dog who was rescued by Ratbones Rescues, a rat terrier rescue organization. She had been dumped, at apx. 10 years of age, going into labor at a shelter in Ala. and had been used as a backyard breeding dog. She and her six puppies were rescued and all were found great homes. Greta came to live with me and be my angel in fur! That's her way cool visor--which she won't wear for more than 5 seconds!

My professional background has been in the human services field as an R.N., and later as a social worker specializing in geriatrics. I have both BSN and MSW degrees.
