For your consideration is an outstanding tin Art Nouveau picture frame dated to 1900 or a bit earlier. It was made in Spain nearby Barcelona so famous for its flock of talented artists, craftsmen and architects.The raised design of flowers depicting Morning Glory (very popular at that time ) or repousse covers the frame completely, to bring more interest and life bright red glass beads were added. The frame is in excellent condition can be hung or used in a standing position. For accuracy only I have to add that the easel is a little bit loose. The size of the frame is quite impressive: 13" x 11" and the opening for the photograph is 6-3/4" x 9". The width is 2".
